"I am on my way back to England after a successful time in Sri Lanka. The reason I did well was very much down to your establishment of contacts prior to my visit. It was the strength of these leads that you provided that will mark the eventual outcome of the mission.

I think Sri Lanka could develop as a trade fair hub for India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the surrounding area if it developed facilities. This would be in the same way as Germany has developed as a hub for Europe. This would be good for Sri Lankan standing and good for tourism.

The hospitality at the event was second to none. I feel everybody went out of their way to make this a great success. As a buyer this was the first time I have been entertained at the British High commission or Embassy and the lengths both British and Sri Lankan people worked together in partnership was to be commended and should be used as a model for the future."
